"Another woman scorned"

Films: Attack of the 50 ft. Woman (1993)

Alias: None

Type: Mutant

Location: Civilized Area/Desert

Height/Weight: 50 ft. and that of a large building.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: You all remember the tale of Nancy Archer. The tragedy of a woman knocked around by fate meeting her demise at the literal height of her potential. Well, we're telling that big story again, with a few details changed...

History: Nancy Cobb Archer had it bad. Her dad wants to take the fortune that was dedicated to her by her late mother, her husband Harry is a cheating waste of flesh, and the rest of the public don't seem to care. That all changes when an alien UFO zaps and captures her for a time. When she returns, she's growing at a rapid pace, and has become much more self-confident and headstrong. Bad news for Harry...

Notable Kills: None.

Final Fate: After a sniper causes her to fall onto some power lines with Harry in her hand, the UFO comes back to save her and take her and Harry elsewhere. Later, it is revealed that Nancy has joined two other giant women to force Harry into therapy sessions with two other much wiser kidnapped men as they explore the stars.

Powers/Abilities: Seems to be growing at a steady rate.

Weakness: Too much stress and anger will cause her to pass out.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-Part of the problem is that the effects work is somehow worse than the original 50s film. Also, Nancy is after just one target, even if she causes a lot of damage. There's also the fact that this Nancy is a lot more in control of her emotions. Then again, with her size, she kind of has to be.

Trivia: -Nancy was played by Daryl Hannah, who as known for winning a Saturn Award for her role as Elle Driver in "Kill Bill".

-Ironically, one of the actors, Paul Benedict, was known for suffering a very real case of over-productive growth hormones known as acromegaly. Rumor has it that the filmmakers were perfectly aware of this, and cast him as an in-joke.

Not after a good round of alien experimentation.

You trying to get a good look sir? Good luck.

Why is he cheating on her again?
I knew those extra steroids were a bad idea!
How it all began seemed to cause her less of an emotional toll.

Well, he's doomed.

You ever wonder what the point of them futzing around with our affairs is?
